"Gentlemen,
A few years ago we realized that payment to SBH relating to TopGun basketball pledges were averaging 50%.
We instituted the "no pay, no play policy".
It worked to a certain degree but there were still some people who for whatever reasons fell through the cracks.
This year we will be enacting a new rule.
If you have a balance with SBH relating to TopGun (not the auction, drives, etc...) then you will not be allowed to play.
This rule will be strictly enforced.
It is up to you (not us) to find out your balance.
You can call (718) 787-1112 x 30
Leave a message with your name, address, and phone # and someone will get back to you.
This applies to everyone.
We understand the current economic situation and realize that for many people it is quite difficult to take care of the full balance.
To that end we only ask that you set up some type of payment plan or to pay off whatever you can afford at the moment. Anything is better than nothing.
Every year Judah, Harold, and myself make the teams and have to inform about 100 or so people that we have no room for them. These people are almost always willing to prepay the donation just for a chance to play. We will not hesitate this year to let these people play even if it means a weaker tournament.
SBH will be emailing us a list of those people with a balance and if they have yet to make contact and work out some type of plan, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY.
